Addressing high-priority challenges to accelerate electrification efforts.

Our Three-Tiered Approach to Advancement

Transportation has the highest reliance on fossil fuels of any sector and accounted for 37% of CO2 emissions from end-use sectors in 2021.

In the past year, open jobs in the US have increased 62% across industries. Manufacturing alone is looking to fill a half a million jobs, which is expected to grow to approximately 21 million by 2030.

The manufacturing sector contributes the largest share to Illinois’ GDP—estimated to be between $580 billion and $611 billion every year.
