Job Description

T/CCI is growing and we just purchased one new CNC machine!

With the purchase of a new machine, we are currently hiring 3 CNC machinists for third shift, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. We machine lots of large, expensive castings, with tight tolerances, and long cycle times!.  Set-up experience is a plus!

Summary:

We are seeking a CNC machinist who will produce quality, machined parts by , setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Duties:

* Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

* Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

* Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

* Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs in production and quality logs.
