When machines and minds meet, the remarkable happens. In honor of Manufacturing Month, TCCI honors the skilled workforce whose resilience and adaptability pulled us through a pandemic and strengthened an industry. We celebrate the innovative minds who are the driving force behind our comprehensive electrification process and a cleaner, more sustainable future. As a result of our diverse and dedicated workforce, TCCI Manufacturing continues to be a global leader in compressor technology.
Rooted in the transportation industry, we value and appreciate the talent and dedication of our workforce. Our strength lies in our numbers; each of us is vital to the growth of American manufacturing and manufacturing abroad. TCCI employees are committed to delivering best in-class products, and their dedication and skill make it possible for us to be industry leaders in innovation, sustainability, and community. These three pillars are the core of our purpose as we Work As One global community to drive performance, culture, value and growth.
In September, TCCI was selected as the first company in Illinois to be part of the Reimagining Electric Vehicles in Illinois Tax Credit Program with our $20MM capital investment, retention, and creation of new jobs. Additionally, through Rebuild Illinois, the state granted $15.3MM to Richland Community College and $6MM to the City of Decatur for us to work side-by-side to develop a first-of-its-kind EV innovation cluster.
We are investing in the future of manufacturing because we believe this is just the beginning. This October during Manufacturing Month, we thank our talented minds across the globe, and we celebrate what’s to come. The future has never looked so bright…or electric.
